Herbst Zerspanungs- und Messtechnik GmbH has its roots in Herbst GbR. Herbst GbR was founded in 1990 by the brothers Uwe and Michael Herbst and Peter Andrijczuk. It quickly developed into a reliable partner for the automotive industry. Herbst Zerspanungs- und Messtechnik GmbH has existed in its current form since 2013 and employs 65 people at its Hildesheim location. Since 2018, Herbst Zerspanungs- und Messtechnik GmbH has been a part of the Hanomag Lohnhärterei Group.
Today, we see our core competences in three fields that complement each other excellently: mechanical processing, assembly and 3D measurement technology.
In the field of mechanical processing and assembly, our focus is primarily on motor components, chassis and structural components. We support our customers with their components from the draft (CAD), through the first prototypes and pilot series, to full-scale production. Each production phase has its specific requirements. We know exactly what they are and are able to address them optimally in production.
A further competence of Herbst Zerspanungs- und Messtechnik GmbH is 3D measurement technology. We not only use it to ensure our own production standards but are also able to offer this service to our customers. This includes measurement programme creation and measurement services for our customers.
We are always investing in state-of-the-art machining and measurement technologies and offer continuous training to our employees in the most varied processes. Especially in prototype construction, our customers expect excellent personal support and reliable time management.
Our task is to support each customer competently over the entire product cycle and to convince them with high-quality, fault-free products.

We are continuously expanding our range of services so that, as a system supplier in the field of heat treatment and machining, as well as measurement services, we are abreast of market requirements.

This requires a high level of methodological competence and interdisciplinary action from us in order to avoid errors and solve problems in a timely manner.
