Privacy Policy
Thank you for your interest in our homepage.
The protection of your personal data as it is collected, processed and used when you visit our homepage is an important concern to us. Your data is protected within the framework of legal regulations.
Please take a moment’s time and read the following information. It informs you about how we handle your personal data, how and for what purpose it is used, to whom we transfer it and how we protect it.
Your personal rights are our highest priority and we make every effort to protect and safeguard them.
Collection and processing of data
Every visit to our homepage and retrieval of a file stored on our homepage is documented. The storage of this data serves internal, system-related and statistical purposes. The following is recorded: name of the retrieved file, date and time of retrieval, data quantity transferred, notification of successful retrieval, web browser, pages visited and the domain making the request.
In addition, the IP address of the computer making the request is recorded. As this website uses an IP anonymising process, your IP address is only stored in truncated form, so that the data can no longer be traced back to you.
If personal data is collected on this website (such as name, address, email address etc.), this will be done with your consent and your knowledge.
The personal data you may provide when contacting us is collected, used and stored by us in accordance with the German Telemedia Act and the German Federal Data Protection Act. Withdrawal of consent is possible at any time.
Use and transfer of personal data
If you have provided personal data to us e.g. through contact forms, newsletter subscription, the online shop, email or written correspondence, ordering advertising materials (magazines; informational brochures; catalogues), we only use that data to answer your queries, establish, execute and terminate contracts with you and for the purposes of technical administration, in accordance with German data protection regulations.
Your personal data is only transferred or otherwise transmitted to affiliated companies or external third parties if this is required for the purposes of answering your queries, billing, fulfilling contracts – in particular, transferring order data to contractors or suppliers etc. – or if you have given your consent. You have the right, at any time, to withdraw consent once given with future effect.
You have the right, on request, to obtain information, free of charge, about the personal data we store concerning you. In addition, you have the right to correction, blocking and erasure of this personal data in accordance with the statutory provisions.
All your personal data and other information, that you communicate to us through the contact form embedded in our homepage or in the course of an application, is only collected, processed and used to handle and respond to your query or application. Your data is transferred to us by email via our provider and, once the query is answered, the data is immediately deleted or processing is restricted, if there are no statutory retention obligations. Use for any other purpose or data transfer to third parties does not take place.
You have the right at any time to withdraw consent once given to the processing of data with future effect.
Online application
We only use the personal data you transfer to us to process your application for an advertised position at one of the affiliated companies of the Hanomag Lohnhärterei Group. Only persons who are involved in the application process receive knowledge of your personal data.
To conduct the application process, we use the services of Haufe-umantis AG. The data is transferred to the service provider using 128-bit encryption. Your data is stored and processed on the systems of our software partner, Haufe-umantis AG.
Other than this, we do not transfer your personal data to third parties unless you have consented to the transfer or we are required to do so because of legal prescriptions and/or official or court orders. Use for any other purpose does not take place.
Your data will be automatically deleted within three months of the completion of the concrete application process. This does not apply if statutory provisions prevent deletion, if further storage is required for evidential purposes or if you have expressly consented to longer retention e.g. for acceptance into the talent pool.
You have the right at any time to withdraw consent once given to the processing of data with future effect.
You have the right, on request, to obtain information, free of charge, about the personal data we store concerning you. In addition, you have the right to correction, blocking and erasure of this personal data in accordance with the statutory provisions.
Talent pool
If you have decided to be entered into the talent pool, affiliated companies of the Hanomag Lohnhärterei Group will be able to access to your personal data for potential job offers. You can enter the talent pool by accepting an invitation proffered by a recruiter or on your own initiative using the “get in touch” form. If you agree to entry into the talent pool, your data will be stored for 12 months and then deleted.
Protection of stored data
We employ technical and organisational security measures to protect the data you provide us from manipulation, loss, destruction or unauthorised access. Our safety measures are continuously improved and adapted according to the state-of-the-art. However, third-party access to unencrypted, disclosed data cannot be ruled out. It must be noted that the security of transmissions made over the internet (e.g. communication by email) cannot be guaranteed. Sensitive data should therefore either not be transmitted or should be sent via a secure connection (SSL).
Protection of minors
Consent to the processing of personal data can only be given by people who have reached the age of majority. On principle, no data is collected from minors.
Storage of anonymised data/cookies
On this website, usage data is collected in anonymised form and stored. To this end, so-called “cookies” may be used. These are text files that are stored on your computer, which allow your use of the website to be analysed. They collect and store the data exclusively in pseudonymous form. They are not used to identify you personally and are not collated with other data concerning the bearer of the pseudonym. We use this information to determine the attractiveness of our website and to continuously improve its contents.
It is possible to use this website without cookies. Most browsers are pre-set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate cookie storage or set your browser so that it notifies you before cookies are stored.

Our website uses Google Maps API (Application Programming Interface) for the visual representation of geographical information (maps). Google Maps is run by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
